On Thursday night I sat up until after midnight to finish the last bit of the lace border on Oliwka's red cardigan. The next day I sewed it up along with the lavender one and .......drum roll......two finished cardigans to be posted off across the ditch in the hope of keeping out the winter chill.
As a reward for all my good grandmotherly knitting I went out to "The longest lunch" held to raise money for the Cancer Council. All in all a pleasant day.
I didn't realise until I downloaded the photos my camera isn't performing at its best and I didn't take a photo of the red bolero after it was completed. Ah well you will just have to look at it pinned up ready to be finished.
Now to knit the matching hats......
