On Saturday I asked Miff he had anything in particular he wanted to do? He replied that he wanted to get a spark plug for the lawn mower. I decided that could wait as I wanted to take him somewhere special somewhere he had never been before. He was mildly interested when I mentioned it was sport. We went to the Greyhound Races. Yes we went to the dogs. We had a bet ($2 on the nose Paul's Princess she came second), a pie, a beer, a chat to some of the punters, I got to love up a couple of the dogs (I love Greyhounds they are beautiful dogs) and we bought a couple of tickets in the raffle. Miff picked his age and we won a fruit platter. It had pineapple, paw paw, mango, kiwi fruit, potatoes, mushrooms, pumpkin, cabbage, strawberries, nectrines, apricots, apples and carrots. Yummmmm. We are set for the week. Well done Miff!
PS I serioulsy thought about taking my knitting but decided to leave it home on this occassion.
