Yesterday was Mothers Day, so Miff and I did the round of phone calls to our mothers interstate and overseas wishing them all the best and catching up with what they have been up to and what they were doing for Mothers Day.
Miff cooked a nice brunch of eggs benedict with salmon, New Zealand smoked salmon no less which we enjoyed on the deck in the sun with some sparkling wine.
I received some lovely earrings in rose gold from the Princess (who spent her day flat out at KFC), just after we had finished brunch Amy was at the door with a new knitting bag, needles and a nice card as well as a big warm hug. Amy's present and card bought tears to my eyes (and Miffs), I was so touched by it all.
