Wonders will never cease

I bought a few knitting magazines recently and saw a lovely cropped vest made of possum and merino in a lovely Burgundy colour. I had a thought that the princess would look nice in it but being a princess she is often prone to dislike anything that I may like just because I like it! I decided to leave the magazine on the kitchen bench open at the page. I found her looking at it intently and then she actually spoke to me (gasp) telling me that she liked it. I said I could knit it for you if you like and I even have that colour (knowing how much she likes red) in the stash in possum too. Miraculously she accepted my offer, I measured her up and cast on.......
