Before C died he gave me his yarn stash, in the stash were two unfinished jumpers, but no patterns. I admired them and his beautiful knitting and put them away as I really didn't know what to do with them.
One was a 10ply jumper main colour white Harmony yarn from NZ beautiful soft luscious yarn, this jumper had a fair isle band. I thought about attempting to finish it for Miff. Unfortunately white is not a suitable colour for Miff as he is a grot!

The other one was a beautifully knitted fair isle knitted in the the round in what I believe is a Prince of Wales design. I found a picture of the jumper in one of his knitting books but no pattern.
Last week I frogged them. I had no issues frogging the white jumper but I did feel like a knitting vandal when I started to unpick the beautiful fair isle. Still I will use the yarn and I know that C would be happy that I admired his work and that I am getting some use out of the yarn.
