I decided to get out the sewing machine to attempt to make some little summer dresses for Oliwka for her birthday and Christmas. I am not a sewer despite the best efforts of my Home Economics teacher so I made sure it was simple sewing. I made some little swing dresses with buttons at the top easy to get on and off a two year old and a crop top as well as dress from the same crop top pattern. Bright colours cheap fabric perfect for a toddler. I even found a remnant of material when I was buying lace (to cover up the bad hemming) that had kangaroos on it. Enough for a pair of capri pants.
I think I will stick to knitting!
