Wet rainy and ideal for knitting

I have been doing bits and pieces of knitting since I last blogged. I am currently working on a mohair and alpaca knee rug in burgundy and a dark grape colour just garter stitch something mindless which I can do while in the car or at work during lunch time.

I also have a cardigan for the man on the go, the back and fronts are done. It is a challenge not because of the pattern which is just a double moss stitch but because it is a cardigan and I have never been particularly fond of men in cardigans. groan. And it goes without saying that there is baby knitting on the needles as well for the gorgeous grand baby Oliwka who was one month old yesterday and is already smiling.

I know I had nothing to do with the creation of this gorgeous wee thing but I can still brag...:)

The weather is rather wet so it is turning out to be a good knitting weekend, although I was hoping to get some gardening done, so many weeds, so little time.

I spent quite some time yesterday at my LYS sorting out Danielle's blog for her and attempting to teach her how to use it. I usually write the newsletter for the LYS but Danielle was actually siting at the lap top yesterday typing it. Go girl. I will turn her into a computer user yet.

Well off to be a good wife and mother and make dinner......

Happy knitting :)
