Well today is the second day of Autumn, and I want to know where the bloody hell did summer go? Did we even have a Summer here? It would seem not. This Summer has been cold, wet and grey. I have spent a large part of this Summer wearing a jumper or a long sleeved T-shirt.
My first Summer spent in this part of the country was a cold one after coming from warmer climes like Adelaide. I wore a jumper for most of the first Summer, slept with the electric blanket on and wore winter pyjamas.
I thought I would post a picture of my favourite beach where I have spent many happy summer days. I just love this beach in all seasons.
Sunset on North Beach Wallaroo. There is nothing that can match sunset at the beach.
Another favourite beach nearby, Moonta Bay. The last time we were there Miff had a swim (in April!!) and we had a lovely breakfast of bacon and eggs overlooking the Bay. Still there is one good thing about a cold summer and that is it is good for knitting!
