Goodies from across the ditch. I love to get parcels in the post but I love it even more when they come from overseas. I always try so hard to not look at the customs label. This time I did look and saw knitting, the parcel didn't even make it into the house I opened it out on the street! Miff tells me I am like a big kid when it comes to gifts and parcels. I cant help myself!
My parcel consisted of some Cleckheaton Vintage Hues, shell buttons, a necklace a card and a lovely note from the MIL telling me she loves her slippers and wears them all the time. Now to plot and plan a project using the five balls and to make something for ME! Not someone else but me.
A couple of weeks ago I was in the local curtain shop and saw some bright pink Shepard 4ply baby wool ON SALE. So some stash enhancement has happened.I seem to now be moving in circles where all of my friends are becoming grandparents so baby knitting it is. I am pleased to say that some very dear friends Erica and Bill are now first time grandparents to Scarlett Poppy Jane born on Monday. So something in bright pink for Scarlett Poppy Jane I think.......
