Fond Farewell

My friend C died recently and he left me more wool, bags and bags of beautiful wool, as well as an unfinished rug and four unfinished jumpers. One was a white 10ply with a fair isle pattern on the bottom which I have frogged as there wasn't a pattern and for other reasons such as it was too small for Miff and/or me and Miff is not a candidate for wearing white. The second jumper is a beautiful 4ply fair isle jumper knitted in the round. There is no pattern to be found anywhere and I don't know what to do with it. Too lovely to frog but I keep asking myself why would I keep it unfinished????????
There is a cardigan in progress, the back is completed and the fronts are completed to the decrease, in a 5ply mushroom brown colour. Miff will wear this and thankfully there is not only a pattern but Miff had singled this pattern out in a book I have.
The fourth one is a 3ply dark green and mint green jumper/cardigan with again no pattern. I think I will frog that one too.
C also left me some beautiful lavender Cashmere, oh how I love cashmere.
The funeral was last Monday and it was a nice farewell one befitting a man who had lived his life well, had many friends and interests.
